Welcome to my website! I recently obtained my Master of Arts degree in Game Design. My specialization is game art (concept art, character designs, environments). During my studies I went to Japan to study Comic Art for one semester to improve my drawing skills. I think there are many possibilities on the field of the visual design of games. I’m inspired by games that make use of their visuals to create an atmosphere: Games like Okami (Japanese painting style), Odin Sphere (fairytale book) and Echochrome (Escher). My graduation project Hollandia was a showcase of my visual designskills and it won a Dutch Game Award for best student game!
I started my own art and design business called BITpunk and work as a freelance concept artist and illustrator.
