Welcome to my portfolio! I will show a selection of artworks I made for different projects, as well as some personal work.
CYBERPUNK 2077
Together with my team, we set up a new art workflow for designing Night City. For the design we built parts of Night City in 3d, using Octane Render and heightmaps to quickly iterate on compositions and layouts. At the same time, this workflow allowed us to make multiple shots, viewpoints and think about day and night cycles as well. Here are some concepts I did during the development of Cyberpunk 2077.
CAPCOM
From 2012 to 2017 I worked at Capcom on several projects. Here is some concept work I did for Monster Hunter World back in 2016. I was responsible for the concepts of all corners in the world stages. To create a believable and alive environment, we designed elaborate ecosystems and interconnected worlds, considering the soil types, elevation, humidity, vegetation and wildlife of each area.
PERSONAL WORK
As for personal work, I had the opportunity to do the "Concept art for film" mentorship by Jama Jurabaev. For it, I created a horror story called "Bones" that follows a group of scientists who are responding to a distress call in the middle of the arctic...
Another personal project is " Klei ". Together with Ward Lindhout I worked on a world-building project about a tribe living in a clay environment. We approached it as if we were photographers, traveling around different worlds and encountering all kinds of cultures.
I always join in on Inktober! Last year I made an insect-inspired character each day, the year before that a 100 charactersketches in ink, but this year I wanted to improve my Blender skills (especially photomodelling) and made a quick Blender scene every day. They took about 1-2 hours each, and it was a good exercise to speed up my Blender process!
And finally some illustrations I did over the last couple of years.
